A514 - T1 High Strength Wear Plate - Custom Steel Parts
Finished products cut from
Quenched and Tempered T1 Alloy Steel Plate are used especially in
highly abrasive construction and mining requirements. Large tooling, digging, cleaning, and scraping blades are cut from these
wear resistant plates. Examples include scraper bars for coal mining conveyors and conveyor flights; dirt, ground and rock scraper blades
and bucket scrapers for large farm implements, such as Caterpillar,
Ford and John Deere tractor implements; and for the many steel liners,
wear plates, wear bars & segments that are required to take the punishment and abuse that large
mining equipment and construction equipment demands. A514 - T1 grade plate properties include very
high, Tensile Strength and Yield Strength in the 100ksi range. The
ASTM specifications reference structural quality in thicknesses of
6" and under intended primarily for use in welded bridges and other
structures. ASTM A514 T1 steel plate should be welded according to procedures
suitable for this grade.

cuts, grinds & machines T1 up to 6" thick and Modified A514 Q
to 8" thick.
